Boom is performed by American rapper Snoope Doog and taken from his 11th studio album "Doggumentary". The song features guest rap vocals from fellow rapper Faheem Rasheed Najm (T-Pain). It was released on 8 March 2011 by Priority Records as the album's second single. It was produced by Scott Storch, and co-written by Snoop Dogg, Vince Clarke, S. Storch and T-Pain. The song has the influence from 80s Yazoo's track "Situation".
Boom charted at number 40 on the ARIA Singles Chart, at number 15 on the Belgian (Ultratip Flanders Chart), at number 28 on the Belgium (Ultratiip Wallonia Chart), at number 14 on the UK R&B Chart, at number 1 on the top 100 songs of 2013 chart, at number 56 on the UK Singles Chart, at number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number 4 on the Billboard Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart.
