"Gangsta Luv" is performed by American rapper Snoop Dogg and taken from his 10th studio album Malice n Wonderland. It was released on 6 October 2009 by Doggystyle Records as the album's lead single. It was produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, and co-written by Snoop Dogg, C. Stewart and Terius Nash.
A music video to accompany was released on 21 October 2009 and directed by Paul Hunter. The video was also featured during a special Halloween episode of "106 & Park" in 2009. The video shows Snoop Dogg and The-Dream sitting in a car. The-Dream is running the car while Dogg is at the back seat. As the video goes on, we found girls around them. The music video was listed on BET's Top 100 Videos of 2009 and Songs of 2013.
"Gangsta Luv" charted at number 13 on the New Zealand Singles Chart, at number 35 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart, at number 24 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, at number 39 on the Billboard Pop Songs Chart and at number 5 on the Billboard Rap Songs Chart.
